    THE EFFECTS OF INCOME AND UNEMPLOYMENT ON POVERTY IN LAHORE, PAKISTAN

    This research aims to signify the role of Poverty available at household level in Lahore city of Pakistan. Reduction of poverty at individual and national level we also investigate the role of income and unemployment through the participation of local households through online and offline means. The research data were collected through cross sectional method and the sample consists of 379 households. The data were analyzed using SPSS, the collection of data was done through questionnaires, first questionnaire was on Poverty, second questionnaire was on Unemployment and lastly third questionnaire was on Income. The analysis of data shows a significant positive relationship between poverty, unemployment and income.
