    Impact of Social Media on Dynamics of Online and Real-life Political Participation A Case Study of Students at University of Management & Technology

    This research aims to identify the role of political content available of social media on students of University of Management and Technology in providing political awareness and also investigates the role of SNSs in students’ participation in politics through online and offline means. The study used random sampling technique to collect the data and used SPSS software to analyse the data. The collection of data was done through three questionnaires on Social Media use and political awareness; second questionnaire was on online political participation by students and lastly, real-life political participation by students’ questionnaire. The analysis of data shows a significant positive relationship between political content and information available on social that is easily accessible and students’ involvement in politics.
