China’s unprecedented economic growth has made her a potential threat to the hegemony of the
US. This growth can be attributed to the use of soft power by China. This use of soft power has
helped China’s peaceful rise at global level. Despite China’s peaceful rise, the West suspects
China’s motives behind the use of soft power.
