Item Perception of students with special needs about quality inclusive education at higher education in university of management and technology (UMT) Lahore(University of Management and Technology Lahore, 2017) Lubna TareenAny student with or without special needs has an equal right to acquire education in any institution whether it is school, college or university. The purpose of the study was to explore facilities provided by the University of Management and Technology Lahore to the students with special needs. The study was descriptive in nature. Population of the study was all the students with special needs in public and private universities of Lahore. Total twenty students were enrolled in UMT and were conveniently selected, sample was twenty students with special needs in UMT. A questionnaire was developed by the researcher to measure the opinions of students with special needs at University of Management and Technology Lahore campus. Data was collected by the researcher personally. The collected data was tabulated and analyzed using SPSS. For the better understanding of collected data percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, Chi-Square test, t-Test and ANOVA were used to analyze the data. The overall results of the study indicated that University of Management and Technology is providing all basic facilities required by any student having special needs. At the end, researcher recommended that, universities should train their employees to deal with students with special needs, not only the higher authorities but even their supporting staffs as well.
