Women with Disability

Present research aims to explore the perceptions regarding disability, experiences of women with disability at work place and dual role adjustment. The study adopted qualitative research methodology. Purposive sampling approach has been used to draw sample. The research has employed 8 in depth interviews with married women with disability to collect data and carried out a thematic analysis of the transcripts. Research findings indicated on the basis of thematic analysis that women Ire perceiving disability as a result of not only a natural process but also as a social and cultural process. Married women with disability Ire facing issues on their workplace and in their family life also. Married women with disability Ire feeling isolation, self-disrespect, and low-income, unsupportive attitude of their family members.
