Item Develop a 3d model of mro (maintenance, repair and overhaul) in a hanger showing airliner under maintenance and related other details(UMT.Lahore, 2025) Khubaib Ahmed; Arslan Habib; Rabea Tariq Hussain; Maham TahirThis project shows a scaled model of an MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility. The main intention of this scaled model is to feature as a practical study for students of Aviation Management and AMET. The limited accessibility to operational aircraft hangars due to safety, regulatory and logistical constraints. To overcome this problem, this model aims to offer a practical alternative within a classroom environment. The model replicates essential components and equipment typically found in real-world MRO facilities. It contains all concerns like Ladders, Trolleys, Forklifts, Loaders, Oxygen Cylinders, Tow Trucks, Aircraft and supporting areas in the offices. Each element has dimensioned and arranged in terms of real-world MRO operations. The project serves as a bridge between theoretical coursework and the operational realities of aviation maintenance. While some compromises made in terms of material and dimensional accuracy due to fabrication limitations, the model successfully demonstrates the functional layout project will provide a practical base for aviation education. Beyond its educational value, the model encourages practical learning by enabling students to engage with a physical, visual representation of aviation maintenance infrastructure. Future improvements may include the addition of moving features and adding technical experts to make the work more realistic.
