    Perceptions of stakeholders about inclusive education

    This study explores perceptions of stakeholders about Inclusive Education which is growing trend in Pakistan and lot of work is still needed to be done in this regard. In literature review researcher discussed about the Inclusive education in developed countries, views of global communities about inclusive education, theorists views about inclusive education, Operationalization of inclusion, Models of Disability, Analysis to several dimensions of inclusive education and Policy and services for person with disabilities in Pakistan. On the basis of literature review a self constructed instrument was made, validity & reliability issues of instrument were ensured through pilot testing and expert opinion. 225 stakeholders of inclusive education of both sexes in public and private sector of Punjab province were the population of this study. Research was descriptive in its nature using quantitative design. Purposive sampling technique was used to collect the data. The date collected from Teachers, Heads, Executives, NGOs Representatives, Parents were analyzed. On the basis of data analysis, it was found that the majority of stakeholders have a positive attitude toward inclusion of children with disabilities. The Stakeholders of this study felt that policy and law should be made to include children with disabilities into the general education and also by providing sufficient resources and training. It will also contribute in field of educational leadership. The study will give good suggestions to policy makers to improve the current scene of inclusive education for further implementation of inclusive education.
