dc.description.abstractAgriculture is an important source in a country like Pakistanand many Pakistani's earn through farming. The weather in Pakistankeeps on change and people some time face lack of rain which result in wastage of crops. Also there are some lands in which the water is available in excess. So to come across this problem we have designed a system which control the excess water in the crops and stops the pumps when the water is not required in the crop. Basically this system is built and undergoes to a process and Works on commands given by the Arduino connected. In this system we are using the power from solar panels as there is shortage of electricity and Pakistanis in Energy crisis as well. Using this system helps to use Alternate source of energy and fulfill shortage of electricity. The sensors are connected in the crops field and keeps on checking the moisture of the field as soon as the crop requires the water the sensors will send the command to Arduino which starts the functioning of the pumps and as soon as the crops are irrigated with the water the Pump will be shut down and the excess to water will be finished. Furthermore description of the system is explained in the report below. Moreover a GSM module is also used which will inform the farmer about the on/off of the pump and flow of water through an SMS.en_US
