dc.description.abstractThis dissertation focuses on the concept of nuclear proliferation dilemma that defines “Nuclear Proliferation Dilemma as a dilemma that ensures and enforces nuclear state’s dependence on nuclear arsenals, caused by vertical and horizontal proliferation of nuclear weapon states”. Nuclear proliferation dilemma later explains that how in strategic triad of India-china-Pakistan, China offers nuclear related technical assistance to Pakistan in order to counter and balance the power in the region based on their mutual threat perceptions against India. Conclusively, nuclear weapons arms race or at the end of the day the proliferation from one strong ally (China) in South Asia to another (Pakistan) is appeared as an instrument for keeping up the balance of power amongst India and Pakistan.en_US
