Abstract
This report discussed the design of an aquarium that provides a unique mesmerizing experience to the community. The proposed project is Oceania, a marine mammal museum located at Nespak society, Lahore. This project has been considered fundamental and would be necessary to create exposure among students and promote tourism in Pakistan. Oceania is a project completely inspired by submerged old cities throughout the world. Oceania would help us in gaining knowledge of the aquatic plants and animals. The fish, which would be placed in the Oceanarium, will help students learn about them despite the lack of oceans present in Pakistan. Such kind of awareness is crucial today, as many aquatic animals are becoming extinct. Oceania qualifies itself as a small scaled aquarium. It covers everything that a small scaled aquarium should have. Oceania will not only fulfill educational purposes but also create awareness about marine life. Moreover, it will also keep in view the recreational and entertainment factors Oceania is designed in such a way that it would be functional and create anaesthetically pleasing appearance for the visitors. The main focal point of the aquariums is the use of holograms in the aquarium which would serve an amazing purpose in educational as well as recreational aspects and aside from the aquarium the project also holds relaxation and enjoyment activities such as an outdoor ship café, dolphins show through holograms. The proposed aquarium Oceania will further enhance and expand Lahore's tourism and beauty. Furthermore, fulfill the recreational and educational needs of people of Pakistan and abroad.
