Abstract
Education is only one of several fields that has been profoundly impacted by the gaming industry's reputation for innovation and change. An innovative approach to education, game-based learning takes advantage of the fun and interactive aspects of games to improve students' educational experiences. The purpose of this research is to determine whether or not GBL is an effective method for teaching chemistry to primary school pupils. Through the integration of educational content into gaming frameworks, GBL stimulates active involvement, problem-solving, and increased retention of academic material. The study looks at how GBL affects students' understanding, memorization, and interest in chemistry class. In order to shed light on the use of GBL approaches in elementary school chemistry classes, the study will examine previous research and carry out in-depth case studies. In order to reduce educational inequalities and improve learning results, it is necessary to establish a welcoming and productive learning environment for all students. This paper adds to the increasing amount of evidence showing GBL has the ability to completely change the way chemistry is taught. It also provides practical advice for teachers and game designers on how to work together to create educational games that meet the requirements of students and the objectives of the curriculum
