Despite the increasing tendency of people toward religion, conventional theories of motivation still lack religious factors to motivate people. This study seeks to explore the concept of religious motivation by highlighting the deficiency in mainstream motivation theory to cover people from all areas of life. The analysis of motivation theories is done in two steps. In the first step, all the theories of motivation from Robbins’ book of Organizational behavior, and in the second step theories of motivation from the leading journal of the concerned field were taken.
