dc.description.abstractConstruction industry is dynamic in nature. The concept of project success has ambiguously defined in the construction industry. Project success means different things to different people. Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) system is the soul of every construction project. There are many companies which are providing MEP services. This study is based on one of the largest firm named MEP-Solutions which is providing these services (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) on larger scale in Pakistan considering construction industry. The aim of this Study is to explore the variations “same company sometimes face loss in one project while earn profit” in another in project implementation. The study is based on two projects, one is Emporium mall (from where MEP Solutions get loss) and compare it with most successful project Lotte Kolsen (from where MEP Solutions get success). This study was based on 110 responses to a structured questionnaires, and 7 responses of interview questions from persons of strategic level, also included documentation analysis toexplore managerial perceptions and variations about both project characteristics. This study was intended to analyze the data of both projects and compared it with each other to find out the variables which effect the performance of projects of MEP Solutions.
