Abstract
Human brain is a complex network that operates by the interconnection of billions of neurons. Brain electric charge travels among neurons to transfer information. Electroencephalography (EEG) is an electrode which can be placed over the body skull to measure the electrical activity of the brain. These transmit electrical signals which trigger activity in cells. So, we are aiming to control bionic arm by fetching these electric signals. Interpretation of signals detected from human brain could allow us for many interesting applications including movement of prosthetic limb and more man-machine interactions. The signals generated from the brain changes with the thought, we can collect the signals, classify them and implements these waves to control the objects. To obtain EEG waves we used an EEG headset that gets the inputs of the brain waves through different channels. These signals will pass through different filters and give digital signals. The reason we choose this project is to help the paralyze people by giving them a bionic arm which can be control easily through brain signals.
