dc.description.abstractThe Autism spectrum disorder is a neurological developmental disability. In this disability the children face many problems, difficulties and delays in socialization and in academic achievements. This current study is on the “Investigation of social skills enhancement and academic performance of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder”. The first chapter of this research contains research questions on the objectives of the research. This research is done for the teachers and therapists. By this research the teachers and therapists will get to kwon about the challenges of social skills enhancement and academic performance, and also get to kwon about the relationship of social skills enhancement and academic achievement of children with ASD. In next chapter, all the literature review shows that there is a deep relationship of socialization and academic performance of children with autism spectrum disorder. The co-relational quantitative research design was used in this research. The sample size was 50 teachers and therapists from 4 schools of Lahore. The tool for this research was self-constructed. This research allows future teachers and therapists an deep understanding of relationship of socialization skills and academic performance of children with autism spectrum disorder.
