This Report, Airport Hotel: A Gateway of Comfort, explores the design and planning of a five-star airport hotel near Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. The project responds to the increasing need for hospitality facilities that provide convenience, comfort, and cultural relevance for transit passengers, airline crews, business travelers, and tourists. A review of literature and international case studies highlights emerging trends such as flexible spatial planning, smart technologies, wellness facilities, and sustainability practices. The proposed design draws inspiration from aviation dynamics, integrating fluid forms with functional layouts to ensure efficiency, soundproofing, and guest comfort. Facilities include luxury accommodations, dining, business centers, wellness areas, and multipurpose halls, all designed to international standards while reflecting local identity. Emphasis on sustainability, energy efficiency, and contextual integration positions the project as both a hospitality solution and a contribution to Lahore’s urban development. Overall, the airport hotel is envisioned as a gateway of comfort that strengthens the city’s role in global hospitality and travel.
