The objective of this research was to identify whether a relationship exists between the Dark Tetrad, Impulsivity and Cyberbullying among young adults. It was proposed that there would be a relationship between the dark tetrad, impulsivity and cyberbullying behaviors among young people. It was also hypothesized that impulsivity would act as a predictor of cyberbullying. It was a co-relational research with cross-sectional design. The data was collected from 190 university students (men=95, women=95) from different universities with age ranging from 18-26 years (M=21.09, SD=1.94), using convenient sampling technique. The Dirty Dozen Scale (Jonason & Webster, 2010), CAST (Buckels & Paulhus, 2014), BIS-11 (Patton, Stanford, & Barratt, 1995) and Cyber Victim and Bullying Scale (CVB) (Cetin, Yaman, & Peker, 2011) were used as the assessment tools. The Pearson Product Moment Correlation Analysis showed that a positive relationship exists between the Dark Tetrad traits, Impulsivity and Cyberbullying. In addition, the results of Hierarchical Regression Analysis proved that Sadism and Impulsivity are predictors of Cyberbullying among young adults. The regression analysis also identified a negative association between gender and cyberbullying. According to these findings, it can be extrapolated that, in order to reduce cyberbullying prevalence, young adults’ use of social media be monitored. In addition, the use of impulsivity-oriented interventions can also prove to be beneficial.
