Abstract
This dissertation is highlighting the unequivocal role of PEEF scholarship in the student’s educational and professional career development. The Government of Pakistan is providing this service for the uplift of student educational level in society. The government is investing considerably in the education sector in an attempt to attract students from different regions by offering this scholarship each year. This program was started in 2008, and from time to time government increased its funding limit; now this program is accommodating thousands of students in Punjab and other provinces as well. These scholarships generally cover tuition fees, stipends, living and travelling allowance, etc. In this study, it is tried to evaluate the student’s satisfaction level about PEEF scholarship taking the level of student satisfaction as the dependent variable and, financial expense coverage, merit criteria and academic help as independent variables. At first, the descriptive measures are calculated to analyze the students’ responses for a sample of 555 respondents. Later, regression analysis is used to compute the cause and effect relationship among dependent and independent variables. The results showed a significant relationship between variables that illuminate the student satisfaction level regarding the PEEF scholarship. This scholarship program is valuable as compared to other scholarship programs. Additionally, the student satisfaction level shows that this scholarship program is helpful for students belonging to different categories. An increase in financial support can make it a more successful scholarship program, resulting in increasing the education ratio of the country.
