Abstract
Sussi cloth, a traditional symbol of Sindhi culture, is a symbol of the rich creative heritage and socio-cultural identity of Sindh, Pakistan. Originating in the 18th century, it became a sought-after commodity due to its intricate craftsmanship, complex designs, and rainbow of colours. Susi fabric is made using a labor-intensive, traditional method, with striped patterns and checks created by interlacing fine cotton, silk, or mixed yarns on traditional handlooms.
