Abstract
This documentation presents the design, implementation and usage scenarios of Proximity-based Profile Matching service. This is a novel service that matches "appropriate" people based on their profiles and location, and alerts them when such matches exist. There are a lot of potential applications based on this concept and we describe a prototype implementation that supports two of such applications: conference scenario where people would like to meet others with similar interests, and shopping through scratch card.
