dc.description.abstractThis research has designed a community of inquiry of pre-service teachers on social media to promote their intentions toward educational equity and justice. The unit of analysis in this study was the pre-service teachers who are enrolled in the education departments of the universities of Gilgit Baltistan. Census sampling was used to include all the students enrolled in the education departments of the universities in Gilgit Baltistan. This research used two phase mixed-methods approach. A baseline survey was conducted to measure pre-service teacher‘s intentions towards equitable education. A one group pre-test post-test design was applied for intervention. Pre-test and post-test were applied to measure the influence of pre-service teacher‘s participation in the community of inquiry on their intentions towards equity in education.
