South Asian political structure is always dependent on political competition of great powers. USA has influenced this region with its complex bilateralism with both India and Pakistan since the early cold war times, and in contemporary era U.S policy shifting behavior in international affairs is now more likely revolves around the Chinese moves in global and regional sphere.
