Poverty is a complex and emerging problem in developing countries including Pakistan. This research paper is design to find out the relationship of poverty and education, corruption and governance. This research paper uses education (Literacy rate), Corruption Perception Index and Governance Effectiveness as independent variable and poverty headcount ratio as dependent variable. In methodology, descriptive method and graphical representation of variables is used. The time series data is used from 2008 to 2018 that I collect from different sources such as Worldwide Governance Indicators and World Development Indicators. The data type taken up for this study was secondary in nature that was followed by qualitative method. The research outcomes show that poverty and corruption is negatively related. It is essential for enhancing both individual and society socio economic status and eradicating poverty. However, the relationship between poverty and corruption and governance are positive. An important implication of these findings for the government of Pakistan is that more investment on education reduce poverty and helps to control corruption.
