Abstract
The PRS enables to set up, handle calls with flexible routing and premium charging automatically... The PRS allows a service provider to provide information to the calling user and receive revenue from them. A growing change of attitude among marketers towards automated call handling has been observed. Once regarded with suspicion, more companies are now realizing that, in many situations, interactive voice response (IVR), technology offers clear advantages. Now the marketers are becoming fairly positive towards automated voice response services. They realize that its use is more beneficial to them. The majority of calls that would be received from mass consumer can be handled very effectively, quickly and cheaply using this technique. Keeping in view all aspects, the launching of PRS seems the appropriate solution. To meet with the needs for cost effective and adaptive telecommunication system,^, customization of informational services, their rates and deliver telecom services faster according to the requirements of the customers. To provide extra value for the user and generate greater revenues to service providers by fulfilling the demand of operating companies through introduction of value added services from IN, Platform. Marketing strategy with eost evaluation and revenue estimation has also been discussed.
