Abstract
Cities are social structures that represent a multi-layered interaction between economies, cultures and people.. The city of Sheikhupura over the years have started to ignore the multilayered connection between spaces and people. This has resulted in the natural landscape shift as the vibrant spaces start to decay.Fertile agricultural land is being sacrificed due to Sheikhupura’s unplanned urban surroundings. It takes a look into what the future of the cultural region will look like on the factor’s preservation of the historical sites and integrating them with ecofriendly designs. The aim of this research is to understand what can minimize Sheikupura’s control over the space for cultural and economic activities, which can lead to improvement in the ecological health of the region. The study accepts the fast-paced growth of the society urban environment and aims to move along with it, presenting the idea of becoming proactive It'll take a collaborative effort for growth. It aims towards inspiring future architects to incorporate a more human centered approach. The research highlights the potential of Sheikhupura to emerge as a model for urban vitality, where its historical legacy coexists harmoniously with contemporary urban life. This vision for Sheikhupura's future is not merely a blueprint for change but a call to action—reimagining a city where public spaces serve as the heart of a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable urban ecosystem.
