dc.description.abstractThis study aim’s at knowing the negative effects of cell phone on classroom learning environment. A sample size of 100 students of four universities of Lahore aged 17-25 years was taken using quantitative research survey methodology. The data was collected through questionnaire containing 25 questions. The study found that most of the students use cell phone in classroom and it negatively affects the learning atmosphere. Students use mobile for SMS, calls, internet browsing, dictionary, and listening to music etc. The study also revealed that cell phone usage is negatively affecting the classroom learning atmosphere, student are more interested toward cell phones as compared to their studies.en_US
