Abstract
This study presents the deep analysis of a novel “reluctant fundamentalist” which is written by Mohsin Hamid in 2007. This noel will be explored under the post-colonial theory by Leela Ghandi. This research will show the hybridist identity of the main character in the novel named as Genghis Khan who stuck between the east and west culture. This research points out all the conflicts between the characters as well as countries. The way perception of “American dreams” changes in the life of Asian man when white people changes their attitude after collapse of world trade center (9/11) incident. Then native hybridist term will be discussed with the references through the novel. This term will show another aspect of post colonialism.
