The paper explores the stability of isotropic pressure conditions in spherically symmetric dissipative fluid distributions within the context of f(G, T) gravity. We observe that the presence of shear, dissipative fluxes and energy density inhomogeneities in the initially isotropic configuration tends to abandon isotropy leading to pressure anisotropy. For physical significance of the pressure isotropy conditions, we transform the shear-free system into the hydrostatic equilibrium approximation. To strengthen the results, we also explain some arguments by choosing axially symmetric case.
