Abstract
The study entitled "Effectiveness of Classroom Learning Environment as viewed by Teachers at Secondary Level" was conducted in three schools at Lahore City. The population as well as the sample included all the teachers of three schools. Qualitati\'e methods were employed for collection and analysis of the data, which included real classroom observations, the views of teachers recorded through interviews and questionnaires. The analysis of the data revealed that: all the teachers of three schools mostly knew about the classroom participation and body language of a teacher. They knew about the lesson planning and the roles of encouragement give to students in the classroom. They had an idea about group, and pair work and collaborative works in the classroom. But school A" lacked in teaching skills. The teachers of school 'B' were deficient in maintaining discipline in the classroom. The teachers of school 'C were also lacked in maintaining discipline and teaching skills
