Abstract
The Internet of Things (IOT) is a system of digital devices, software and detectors that enables interconnected objects to accumulate and share data over the network. Recent technological advancement have enabled human existence smarter, faster and more comfortable. In our proposed system of healthcare monitoring of the paralysis patients, it is important to check a patient's vitals on an ongoing basis. In this framework, three sensors are integrated with Arduino microcontroller to monitor the temperature, heart beat and pulse rate of the patient. The microcontroller is further assimilated with a Wi-Fi module. This network collects the patient’s vitals, sends to the ESP 8266 (Wi-Fi Module), which enables the connectivity to the internet. In this way the data can be visualize and analyzed using the IOT platform. Through this proposed health care system the physician or caretaker can access and monitor the vitals of patients at any time.
