| dc.description.abstract | The concept of psychological well-being and resilience shares common psychological features involved in positive human functioning. The present study was aimed to examine relationship between psychological well-being and resilience of special educationist teaching children with intellectual disabilities. Secondly, Find out the difference between psychological wellbeing and resilience of special educationist teaching with intellectual disabled children based on demographically variables. The sample was comprised of 100 special educationist teaching children with intellectual disabilities convenient sample technique were used for data collection. Data were collected using the quantitative method through questionnaire. The study was conducting by using two adopted scale. The Scales of Psychological Well-being (Ryff, 1989) and The TRS Teacher Resilience Scale were used. Findings indicated that psychological well-being and resilience were found to be greater among female special educationist as compared to male special educationist teaching children with intellectual disabilities. In additional the relationship between psychological well- being and resilience were week but positive. This study would assist to provide training session of psychological well and resilience that enables special educationist and other stake holder to robust their strengths and capabilities to increase their well- being and resilience to overcome professional life challenges. | |
