Abstract
Face expression is the best way to express feelings for humans. There are some other ways and activities also to show and express feelings, but most common one is to show facial expressions. Any person can read face expression of other person very easily. That is why we are proposing to work on expression of human face to know his/her feelings. This project proposes an Android base music player application named as Face Expression Music Player (FEME). Purpose of this application is to provide a music playing application for Android users that will work and play music according to the facial expression of user. Very simple and user friendly application, entertaining and will be loved by music lovers. Working of application is simple. Users can play songs manually by selecting from songs list using features of play, pause, next, previous, fast forward, fast backward, or users can also play music by facial expressions. For facial expression feature to work front camera of device is mandatory. There are three default empty playlist available in application named as (SAD, HAPPY and VERY HAPPY). User will have to choose songs from list and add them in the playlist of his/her desire and then through front camera application will detect face of user recognizing expression and playing playlist according to the recognized expression.
