Abstract
This study discusses the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in decision-making in project management. It focuses on how AI automation will improve decision-making by turning it more effective, faster, and successful. The researchers analyze the role of effective decision-making as a mediator and the role of organizational culture as a moderator to improve the analysis of the role of AI in project outcomes.The research relies on the quantitative approach where the primary data is collected via questionnaires and processed with the assistance of PLS-SEM (Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling). The findings indicate that AI automation boosts the quality of decision-making by providing data-driven information, reducing the possibility of errors, and streamlining the process.The manner in which customers are willing and receptive to assist can also influence the success of the project where the likelihood of AI automation is high. The study suggests that AI can be used to assist people to come up with new ideas, make decisions faster, more precise, and helpful, and all these efforts will help the business to remain afloat and complete better work.The errors made by people in projects that are going on these days should be improved through AI automation to enable the business to remain in business longer and produce more successful work. The ethos of the company may also influence the way individuals are disposed to AI-based systems and the extent of success of these systems.In this study, effective decision-making will be used as a mediator, and organizational culture will be a mediator. This is informed by what we know and what we do not know of the research.This study is explanatory and deductive because it examines the causal relationship of the various components of the dataset to one another.We asked 160 respondents that had diverse backgrounds to complete a standardized questionnaire that incorporated a 5 point Likert scale.We employed the use of Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to determine the causal relationship between various components of the dataset. The results suggest that automating work with the help of AI does make the project more successful, and making intelligent decisions could be what bridges the gap between digital transformation and organizational effectiveness. The organizational culture should facilitate or hinder the adoption of the newest technology by the staff, and such a connection could affect the effectiveness of the latter.
