dc.description.abstractThere are several effective interactions available for various shells. We select four of the 𝑓𝑝-shell effective interactions namely Kutschera, Mccullen, Banerjee and Engeland for calculating the energy levels for 42Ca comparing their effects using Nushell Oxbash code. The calculation have been performed through F7PN, F7 and FP model spaces. The results are compared with the observed data and discussed.
