Abstract
Malnutrition is described as imbalances in a person’s dietary intake. Associated with increased infection and complications, muscle loss and fatigue, prolonged hospital stay. Indicators of malnutrition are unintended weight-loss, vitamin inadequacies, and reduced dietary intake. Malnutrition is present in 30%-50% of hospitalized patients aged ≥60 years
