    The Influence of Strategic Culture on Fourth Generation Warfare in Pakistan

    Strategic culture is collection of different norms, beliefs, attitudes, socio-cultural and political values molded according to historical experiences towards the use of military force. Elites shape the interpretation of environment and security issues and then chose responses to different threats. Strategic culture has significant impact on fourth generation warfare which was ignored by earlier researchers. Pakistan has been effected by this type of warfare in which enemy has disturbed country politically, socially, economically, religiously and psychologically by using all indirect means. Strategic culture of the country has also been used to wage this warfare and different actors like US, India, Iran and Saudi Arabia has fully taken advantage to achieve their particular agendas. Qualitative content analysis has been applied to this study and all the official and authentic non official documents, speeches and published content used to know the influence of strategic culture on fourth generation warfare in Pakistan.
