(UNIVERSITY OF MANAGEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY, 2015) Zain Ul Abidin; Ahsan Chaudary; Usama Habib; Arsalan Tariq
Patient Appointment system in most health care institutions in Pakistanis carried out using and arrival of patients to health cares without appointment system results in live lines at checking rooms. This restricts output of work and results in lines at reception and jams of telephone. Practicality of such system is low and fails meeting needs of the patients and physicians and administration staff. Most elements of the registration system are unsuccessful, and therefore too much time of human resources, patients and workers is consumed for usual actions, and physical costs are too high as well. Appointment Plus a platform which reduces the gap between doctor and patient in terms of appointment. It will facilitate doctors to uphold and schedule their future appointments. It will enable patient to see doctor, clinical visit and make the appointment.

    (UMT Lahore, 2023-10-09) Usama Habib
This study looks into the elements that affect the effectiveness of instruction and learning in Punjab's public and private schools. The objective of the thesis is to pinpoint the best effective means for raising teaching / learning standards in various academic environments. Data were gathered and analysed using qualitative research techniques, such as document analysis and interviewing, to provide light on the study issues. Significant discoveries of teacher-related variables, student-related factors, and school-related factors are revealed by the data analysis. Teaching abilities, credentials, and experience were discovered to be critical in boosting the quality of both teaching and learning. Student-related factors, including motivation, engagement, and learning styles, also significantly contribute to academic performance. School-related factors, such as resources, facilities, and leadership and management practices, contribute to creating an enabling learning environment. The study identifies several best practices including CPD, mentoring, coaching programs, promoting collaboration and teamwork among educators, adopting differentiated instruction and personalized learning approaches that can contribute to improving teaching and learning outcomes. The study also highlights the significance of inclusive educational practices for meeting the needs of all pupils. The findings of this study align with existing research and literature on effective teaching and learning. This research intends to assist policymakers and educational leaders in Punjab in implementing best practices to enhance the quality of teaching and learning in public and private schools by offering evidence-based suggestions. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term impact of these best practices and to address implementation challenges.
