    Employee management system

    Employee management is the level of commitment and involvement an employee has towards their organization and its values. An engaged employee is aware of business context, and works with colleagues to improve performance within the job for the benefit of the organization. It is a positive attitude held by the employees towards the organization and its values. The paper focuses on how employee management is an antecedent of job involvement and what should company do to make the employees engaged. This report includes a development presentation of an information system for managing the staff data within a small company or organization. The system as such as it has been developed is called Employee Management System. It consists of functionally related GUI (application program) and database. The choice of the programming tools is individual and particular. Keywords Information system, Database system, DBMS, parent table, child table, table fields, primary key, foreign key, relationship, sql queries, objects, classes, controls.

    Every business has a concern with supply chain irrespective to its size, nature and age needs an adequate concentration on its supply chain to carry out regular business operations and survive in the international business competition. A supply chain is a system of organizations, people, technology, activities, information and resources involved in moving a product or service from supplier to customer. Supply chain transform natural resources, raw material and components into finished product that is delivered to the end customer. The project report title “Analysis of Supply chain practices and tools used by DHL to manage its Operations” deals with this matter and is based on the supply chain management of DHL Global.
