    Islamic motifs
    (UMT, Lhr, 2018) Um-e-Sahar
    This is aimed to understand the construction and symbology behind Islamic motifs and its significance in the Muslim world. The most representational characteristics of two styles from different period of time: modern and historical Islamic styles. The achieve designs will depict contemporary composition without losing the element of old style. My main focus is to create such a designs through which a person can contact himself and understand the beauty and symbology behind motifs, which is of the presence of Divine. Techniques including laser cut, embellishment, embroidery, quilting, fabric manipulation, self-foil carving and different printings (block, stencil) etc. This might interesting to know about the new look of the “NAKOSH- a torch of class”.
