EXAMINING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN WORK INTERFERENCE WITH FAMILY (WIF) AND SOCIAL OVERLOAD
    (UMT, Lahore, 2022-08-24) UZMA AMBREEN
The main aim of this study was to examine the direct and indirect effect of work-family conflict with social overload among the private sector school teacher in Punjab. The study used SEM technique to examine the mediating role of social anxiety in this effect process. The scholars are highlighting the need to understand the negative effects of WIF as a stressor, causing strain in them in the form of social anxiety and negative behavioral outcomes across the globe. Since most of the studies which contribute to WIF and employee well-being literature, come from western countries, it is viable to examine the negative outcomes in Pakistani context where socio-cultural structure might build new insights in to this domain.
