(UMT, Lahore, 2016) Tayyab Shoaib, M.Ahsan Bilal, Tayyab Bukhari and Shariq Tanvir
The use of renewable resources has become a necessity in now time. These methods are very efficient and low in energy consumption. These are the pollution free resources of energy. The led light turned on at night automatically and turned off in daytime. The purpose of the project is to minimize the consumption of power in the streets. Power consumption is more in the existing system due to improper functionalities of street lights. By using our system, we can control the consumption of power. This is pollution free renewable resource. Solar power is used to charge the batteries. This circuit works in two mode control 1. Low Brightness 2. High Brightness This report describes the design of the Solar powered led street lightning with control intensity. The project based on 3 modules. 1. Solar Panel 2. Charge Controller & Battery 3. Intensity Control Circuit The circuit of the Project is designed, simulated and built with hardware. The simulation results and design details are provided. Circuit diagram of our project is successfully tested on hardware.
