    Role of Electronic Media in Crating Social Exclusion of Person with Disabilities

    The topic of the research was a study of role of electronic media creating social exclusion of person with disabilities. The aim of the study was to explore role of electronic media in creating social awareness about disabilities in society. The sample was taken from private and government TV channels, students with special needs from different organizations of Lahore city. It was descriptive study and was conducted with the help of questionnaire. The questionnaire was developed by the researchers which reached to acceptable level of reliability. The main objective of the study was to known role of electronic media in creating awareness about disabilities in society. This study will help of researcher quoted in this study our electronic media can get guidelines for improvement The data was collected by the researchers themselves. Than it was tabulated, analyzed and interpreted through SPSS. The sample consisted of 24 media channel employees, 25 students with special needs, 23 professionals with special needs. Reliability statistics showed that the instrument was reliable because it was reported 0.88. One sample t test was applied to see the significant difference among the opinions of respondents and following variables age, education, marital status and gender.
