    ISSUES AND CHALLENGES FACED BY WOMEN WITH BREAST CANCER IN MULTAN

    Breast cancer is malignant cancer that happens due to the abnormal growth of cells. Breast cancer often happens in women, but in very few cases it happens in males. This study is designed to identify the issues and challenges faced by women with breast cancer. The main aim of the study is to explore the issues and challenges faced by women with breast cancer and to evaluate the changes in their physical, social, economic, psychological, and sexual life due to which their life is affected. The research is based on qualitative design. The study uses purposive sampling and in-depth interviews are taken from 6 women. The finding of this research evidently accentuated the effect of cancer on women’s life course and their experiences. Women’s issues and challenges are based on multiple perspectives along with several motivations to overcome these issues. The results of the study explain that poor quality of life affects the lives of women and creates social, economic, sexual, psychological, emotional and health issues for women. Women face more problems and dilemma after surgeries and chemotherapies.
