Item Comparative study of weaving units on the basis of production and quality(2009) Saqib AliThe project is related to the comparison of two weaving units on the production basis. In the project daily production of two units is compared and also the factors which can affect the production are discussed. Main objective is to study that how yarn and the machinery affect on the production of a weaving mill.Item Occupational stress, resilience, and burnout among firefighters of punjab emergency services, rescue 1122(UMT Lahore, 2019) Saqib AliThe current study aimed to investigate the predictive role of occupational stress for burnout while considering the resilience as moderator among firefighters of Punjab Emergency Service, Rescue 1122. The sample of firefighters (N=200) was selected through purposive sampling technique from Lahore, Sialkot, Sheikhupura, Sargodha, and Gujranwala. To collect the data, Health Safety Executive Management Standard Indicator Tool (HSE-MSIT), State-Trait Resilience Inventory, and Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS) were used to measure the occupational stress, resilience, and burnout. According to Mappi guidelines, HSE-MSIT and MBI-GS were translated in to Urdu language before use. To analyze the data, Point Bi-serial correlation, hierarchical linear regression, moderation analysis, independent sample t test, and independent measure ANOVA were used. The results of moderation analysis revealed the significant moderating role of resilience between the relationship of occupational stress and burnout among firefighters. The results of hierarchical linear regression revealed occupational stress as significant predictor of burnout. The results of the research confirm the predictive role of occupational stress for burnout while resilience serves the role as buffer which reduces the impact of occupational stress on burnout.Item Result management system(UMT.Lahore, 2016) Qadeer Ali; Saqib Ali; Usman TahirThe project aims to make result management system it will be used by educational institutes including students, faculty and administrators, so that that they can view results and other functionalities online from where ever they are. The project has facilities for registration of faculty, addition of courses, registration of students, announcements of activities like quizzes, assignments, midterms, and final terms and also posting of results of the particular activities mentioned above, result submission, general announcements and result viewing etc. From the majority of students, advisors & teachers. The users of the system are the students who can use the online result management system for viewing their results and the administrator who can use the interface to roll out improvements to the basic database such as updating the records of advisors and teachers in the online database and advisor who can assign courses to the teachers which they hay to teach to the students. This portal will help users to edit records, uploading and creating assignment respectively and will be seen by students. They will also be getting new announcements and other important information about the courses this portal provides all the basic features of the result management system, and can be deployed in any university, college, school or any educational institute for result management and other professional purposes. The portal “result management system” is providing all the necessary option, functions & functionalities which are required and should have to be in any result management system. Moreover the parents can also view the results of their children this will help them to conveniently learn about the grades of their children, this will also help the parents to get rid of continuous parent teacher meetings we hope this will make a difference in the management of result and provide ease for the faculty as well as the students of the particular department.Item The effect of quality of wate on reactive dyeing of cellulose textiles by some selected sumifix bifunctional dyes(UMT.Lahore, 2007) Saqib Ali; Khalid WaleedThe quality of water is very important in the dyeing of textile materials. Dyeing industry uses a huge quantity of water. The quality of ground water is different at different locations. The major objective of this project is to check the quality parameters (PH, TDS, alkalinity and hardness etc) of ground water collected from different industrial areas and their effect on the quality of dyeing regarding to quality of dyed specimen surface (evenness and whiteness), hue, and chroma, lightness and total difference. The effect of quality of water is also studied for washing fastness and crocking of dyed specimen. The water is tested at PCSIR labs. The Faisalabad water has lot of contaminations but the watersamples from Multan Road, Kotlkhpat and Raiwind Manga Road has contaminations with in accepted limits. The Knitted fabric samples are dyed with Red, Yellow and Navy colors in different water samples. Fabric samples dyed with different dyes in different depth are compared with relevant samples dyed in Multan road water, selecting as standard. The comparison is done both visually and with spectrophotometer. The washing fastness and crocking of the dyed samples is also measured. All the information ai*e arranged in tables and studied for final evaluation. It is evaluated that water quality has no definable effect on the surface properties. Hue, chroma, lightness and total difference of the dyed specimens. It is also evaluated that water quality has no effect on the washing fastness and crocking. The area has bright chances for future research. The effect of water on dyeing can be studied further by varying the parameters of quality of water artificially by the addition of chemicals and by the results prediction of most suitable water, quality parameters for dyeing.Item The effect of quality of water on reactive dyeing of cellulose textiles by some selected sumifix bifunctional dyes(UMT, Lhr, 2007-10-09) Saqib Ali; Khalid Waleed; Rafaqat AliThe quality of water is very important in the dyeing of textile materials.
