Item Maghribi tasawwur-e-huqooq-e-insani ka irtiqa aur muahidaat-e-nabawiyya mein mazkoor huqooq-e-insani ka taqabuli mutala'ah(UMT Lahore, 2020) Saman NaeemIslam is a complete code of life because it has shed light on and provided guidance for every dimension related to society and human rights. It would be unjustified and wrong to claim that the phenomenon of human rights is a new one, since Muslims had established human rights long before the fourteenth century. This paper is based on strong research to examine the human rights that Islam granted from the very beginning, even before the so-called genesis of world human rights. The paper also aims to justify that Islam is the real custodian and guardian of human rights for every human being, and to prove that all anti-Islamic challenges are nothing but a chimera and myth created by anti-Islamic forces to mold people against Islam and the Muslim world. Whereas Islam is a divine religion supported by Allah, anti-Islamic forces cannot harm Islam because it is based on universal and human principles that cannot be challenged by those who lack the vision to understand the true philosophy of Islam. Islam is the real solution for a world where justice is largely absent. It is the true voice of oppressed and suppressed people and provides a genuine path toward justice and world brotherhood. In contemporary discourse, the concept of human rights has become a central concern. Generally speaking, many religions promise salvation primarily to their own adherents. In a similar manner, Islam emphasizes belief in Allah (the One God) and in Muhammad as the last Prophet. The approach of religions, in this sense, can be described as somewhat insular, and no revealed religion explicitly claims to save all of mankind in the same way. The real danger to humanity arises from secular institutions that make decisions based on majority vote. The majority naturally tends to protect its own interests rather than enlightened interests based on the welfare of all mankind. If the majority is enlightened and just, decisions will benefit humanity; however, if the majority is unenlightened, their approach to human problems may lack dignity and justice. The present paper attempts to examine the role of Islam in the promotion of human rights. For the benefit of readers, the origin and perspective of human rights are also discussed.
