Design and implementation of bus-bar trainer
(UMT Lahore, 2020) Sajid Bin Zahid; Syed Athar Hussain; Sajjad Ali
Busbar technology is widely used with the goal to achieve electrical connections with power distribution systems because of their flexibility. This report proposes a trainer for implementation of busbar schemes which are used in power system. The obtained trainer can be used to analyses the voltages and currents at various points and loads etc. It is lab-based Power Distribution Trainer on which all the bus-bar schemes can be implemented. Double bus-bar scheme can be used for 3 bus and 4 bus Power Flow study. One can also perform Power Factor correction. Power distribution course is studied in every engineering university. So, it is the prime requirement of lab course to have a trainer like to study power flow analysis. It is an economical project that can be customized to any future demand.
