Autonomous bottle filling system using plc
(UMT.Lahore, 2019) Abdullah; Usama Ahmed; Rizwan Ahmed
Process control and automation has advanced over the years. Automation reduces human machine interface in a very efficient and reliable manner. In the early years, humans were responsible as principle strategies for controlling and monitoring the device response. Early positioning and operational control mechanism was based on relays actuation. With the advancement of technology in control theory and automation, now we are able to control process through Programmable logic controller (PLC). Nowadays, the application of PLC in the field of automation and process control is appreciable and widely known due to its uses in industrial world. PLC is used to control the mechanical movement of machinery or combined machines in order to increase productivity and minimizes the cost to meet standards. PLCs are very flexible, cost effective, space efficient and reduce complexity. The main objective of this project is to fill bottles of different heights and different volumes with two fluids based on different viscosities with high precision and accuracy in order to avoid from overflowing and under flowing. The process keeps on until or unless we accomplish our demand for filling of defined number of bottles as per order.

    Home monitoring system
(2009) Ammar Ahmed Khan; Rizwan Ahmed; Raza Haider
Security has always been an issue if we go in the past we will come to know that even at that time the society was not clear of crimes the people of that time also used different methods to secure their places and belongings. They used fences, built caves for securing themselves. Even in the modern era as the technology is evolving, the number of crimes is increasing in numbers. This makes people to spend a lot of money for securing themselves. So in the fast developing world today, the need to secure our belongings like cars and home from remote location is becoming a necessity. This project titled “HOME MONITORING SYSTEM” aims at securing our home from a remote location. We have use the GSM technology for communicating between the user and the home controller. This project can be extended by adding more functionality like increasing the number of sensors and by introducing new technologies like image processing so that to make it more effective .
