    FIVE STAR HOTEL
(UMT, Lahore, 2025) ROMMEL SHAHEER CHOUDHRY
This thesis presents the architectural design of a vertical five-star hotel located in the Central Business District (CBD) Lahore, Pakistan. The project addresses the growing need for high- rise hospitality developments within dense urban fabrics, integrating luxury, functionality, and modern aesthetics. Designed on a 22.5-kanal site with 50% coverage, the proposal accommodates 302 guest rooms, including standard, deluxe, twin, and presidential suites, alongside world-class amenities such as fine dining, wellness and recreational facilities, conference areas, and a dedicated service infrastructure. A basement level provides parking for 250 vehicles, ensuring efficient circulation and accessibility. The design emphasizes contemporary architectural expression, energy-efficient systems, and advanced vertical transportation solutions, responding to both climatic conditions and the evolving demands of luxury urban tourism. This project aims to establish an iconic landmark within Lahore’s CBD, symbolizing modern hospitality and urban growth through innovative design strategies and sustainable planning principles.
