    Peripheral arterial disease frequently called as lower limb arterial occlusive disease which can cause serious problems if left untreated. For treatment planning accurate imaging is essential. Digital Subtraction Angiography is gold standard for detecting lower limb arterial occlusive disease although Color Doppler Ultrasound is also utilized extensively because it is non-invasive, accessible, and cost effective.
