(UMT Lahore, 2015-06-29) Farrukh Ayaz Akhtar; Waris Ali; Hafiz Umer Humayun; Muzammal Maqbool
Smart shopping is a hectic and tough job, if you’re so busy you can’t go grocery shopping and buy other small daily usage items. Because nowadays competition is very high and we people don’t have much time to spend on buying these small daily usage items because time is money. Even now we don’t have much time on weekends for grocery and other items shopping. So simply, shopping is a very hectic and time-consuming task to do and needs a lot of planning to buy good and cost-effective products. People do a lot of calculations and comparison of different products for buying and saving good desired quality products. So wise shopping is not an easy task at all. Hence, the purpose of this project is basically to assist people by helping them in their shopping. The idea is that different companies and stores put promo posters of their products in different public areas like cafes, railway stations, restaurants, airports, etc., with QR codes and prices. All a customer/end user needs to do is to read the QR code with their smartphone camera — that’s it. The product is added into the customer’s account and delivered by the store to the end user’s home. Not only this, the end user/customer can also buy these products from the store website. So people will be able to buy their desired products on the go with their smartphone.
